A BRIT persuaded Hollywood actor Zach Braff to help him propose to his girlfriend.Matt Hulbert secretly made a video to surprise Janice Fletcher - and was amazed when the Scrubs star agreed to take part.
Braff, 38, appears at the start of the four-minute clip, listening to a song on his headphones.
He says: 'Sorry, you caught me listening to one of my favourite songs by my good friend Matt.
'Man, he can really rock out. And he asked me to help him with a little question he'd like to ask you, Janice.'
He goes on to say: 'He'd like you to, please, consider being his wife, being his bride.
'But before you answer, let's see what a few other people think you should do.'
The footage then moves on to the couple's friends and family from around the world telling Janice to say 'yes' as one of Matt's compositions plays in the background.
At the end a tearful Janice, originally from East London, South Africa, nods when Matt, 35, asks her to marry him. The happy groom-to-be said: 'I wanted to think of a really cool way to propose to my girlfriend, Janice, and this song and video is what I came up with.
'I wanted to show her that not only do I love her but that she's loved by all our friends and family too. This was particularly important as she hasn't been able to see much of her family for seven years since she moved to the UK and she misses them a lot.
'I managed to get Zach involved through Kickstarter when pledging an amount for his new film 'Wish I was Here'.
'The team were SO kind and SO amazing, they his part of the video to me super early as they really liked the idea.
'Like me, Janice is a huge fan of Scrubs so I knew it would blow her away.'
The clip has been watched more than 42,000 times since being uploaded on Tuesday.
And Janice, 33, said on a blog: 'I couldn't believe all the trouble Matt had gone to. How could I ever have said no?'
